UNECE Sustainable Energy Week 2025

The UNECE Sustainable Energy Week 2025 took place in Geneva, Switzerland (29 September - 2 October), with focus on Just transition for building resilient energy systems.


The week brought together experts, policymakers and other stakeholders to discuss and share experiences on renewable energy, energy efficiency in industrial systems and the built environment, full system costing for resilient energy systems, energy connectivity, and e-mobility.


Doctorial candidate Nicolae Darii participated in the interoperability session, with the presentation: "Fostering interoperability and open-source solutions to accelerate the digital transformation of the energy system".


Nicolae Darii explains, that the report presented:"highlights how shared standards and open-source solutions enable efficient and secure data exchange, overcoming system fragmentation to support a more flexible and sustainable energy grid."
