About us

ADOreD stands for Accelerating the Deployment of Offshore Wind using DC Technology.

We are a doctoral network based in Europe, part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), the European Union's reference funding programme for doctoral education and postdoctoral training of researchers.

Launched in 2022, our training program focuses on offshore wind and HVDC technologies in a strong collaboration with academia and industry.

By 2026, we will have cultivated a new generation of highly skilled researchers with innovative and entrepreneurial mindsets that will support the development of models and methods for offshore renewable connections, driving us towards net-zero emissions.

Consortium

We are composed of six academic and 13 industry partners across more than 10 countries.

This network provides a unique position to contribute to the global efforts towards the goals of net-zero emissions as we represent and cover the whole spectrum of offshore wind and HVDC processes.
