Participation at ACDC Global Conference 2025

Our doctoral candidates participated at ACDC Global 2025, the 22nd IET International Conference on AC and DC Power Transmission.

The conferences gather TSOs and transmission operators with power grid specialists to share their knowledge of the latest developments, applications, and projects shaping today´s energy industry.

Hanwei Li, Manika Khadka and Mario Alejandro Useche-Arteaga participated in the poster session.

Presentations:

• Bernardo Castro Valerio - Optimizing Offshore Wind Integrations through Multi-Terminal DC Grids: A Market-Based OPF Framework for the North Sea Interconnectors.

• Qingyuan Gong - Comparative analysis of VSC-HVDC converters under phase jumps, frequency change and short circuit faults.

• Nicolae Darii - A general state-space model for VSC DC-side dynamics.

The conference took place from 17 - 19 March 2025 in Birmingham, UK.
