Last 12of May 2025, our Scientific Project Coordinator, Nicolaos Cutululis, made a presentation about our doctoral network, and four of our doctoral candidates participated in the following panel sessions:
Latest research development on Grid forming converter control:
Zhenghua (Joshua) Xu presented "Holistic Grid-Forming Control for HVDC-Connected Offshore Wind Power Plants to Provide Frequency Response" and with Nicolaos Cutululis as moderator.
Static and Dynamic Assessment of Grid-Connected IBRs:
Alexander Novikov presented "Impact of Grid Code Fault-Ride-Through Requirements on Wind Power Plant Protection".
Developing and Validating EMT Models:
Germano Mugambi presented "EMT Study of Interactions Between Multi-Vendor Offshore Wind Power Plants" and Nicolae Darii discussed "Theoretical and Analytical Approaches for EMT Simulations Investigation Zones."
We highly value connecting with other MSCA doctoral networks for collaboration and knowledge exchange, especially with InnoCyPES, to broaden our perspectives on the future of the power grid.
The conference took place at DTU Wind and Energy Systems, Campus Lyngby.
